ANNOUNCEMENT
I am excited to announce that I am joining the law firm of Kohler Legacy Law Group, PC, and moving my practice to their office in nearby Los Altos on June 1st. I have been practicing as a solo attorney for almost 10 years. When clients ask how long I intend to keep working (is it my silver hair?), I have replied that I am developing a succession plan to provide continuity for my clients, and a path to my retirement. After decades of looking out for my clients’ best interests, I don’t want to just close the office and walk away.
I am delighted to be joining an established local law firm with a boutique practice in areas similar to mine. I want you to have a new home that will take good care of you and your legal needs. Kohler Legacy Law Group (KLLG) provides comprehensive estate planning, and trust and estate administration services. Their firm has an experienced team of professionals, is technically savvy, and growing. They still meet with clients in person, and work remotely.
For information about Jean Kohler, Victoria Kaempf, and the other professionals at KLLG, please see their website: kohlerlegacylaw.com
This move is bitter-sweet for me. There has been a law firm in Palo Alto with Nate Finch’s name since the 1930s, and with my name on the office in the same location for the last 40 years. The firm known as Finch Montgomery Wright PC will be ending. The Palo Alto office will be closing by the end of May, 2026. I will be sorry to see the firm’s name disappear.
However, I will continue to help my clients at the Los Altos office of KLLG through the end of this year, and then I plan to retire. My wonderful assistant, Corinne Taylor, will be moving to the Los Altos office with me, and will be ready to assist with clients’ transitions. What will remain constant is the legal expertise, personalized service, and attention to detail with a caring, compassionate attitude.
Thank you for your trust, and for sharing your joys, your sorrows, and your family stories with me. It has been an honor to be part of your lives. I look forward to seeing you again soon at the KLLG office in Los Altos. (Map)
